Trainee Field Engineer – Building Management Systems

The Role: Service and commissioning of varying BMS controls projects up to 500K.
The Location: Office based in Dursley. Travel is required for site works and client meetings.

The main duties the successful applicant will be trained to perform are:
Commission BMS projects in line with programme and project engineer requirements.
Service and maintain existing BMS systems to ensure reliable and energy efficient operation.
Attend unscheduled site visits to diagnose and remedy BMS issues on customer sites.
Implement BMS system upgrades and refurbishments.
Programme, amend and verify BMS control software strategies to meet project requirements.
Programme, amend and verify BMS graphics and information pages as needed.
Produce quality reports upon completion of visits.
The ideal candidate should possess:
A recognised current or in progress electrical/electronic qualification.
Understanding of Building Management Systems.
Confident attitude and capable of working under supervision.
Working knowledge of IT systems and networks.
Computer literacy - good knowledge of MS Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook,)
Excellent problem solving skills and a desire to research and find solutions.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
